here are the pictures i took in atlantic city. just a few pics taken from the showboat hotel room of the board walk and some wind mills off in the distance. think a good time was had by all, everyone was surprised how cleaned up ac seemed. the showboat had a fun poker room and a reasonable tourney. congrats to d for placing first from our group in the tourney...

jeannie gets her new bicycle

jeannie picked up her new bike from rei and we took it out for her first spin on the mt. vernon trail. great report, no accidents and all signs look good for a great season of many miles of biking. (3 miles on the mt. vernon trail)

I just called the Taj, and that website is bogus. Here's the actual schedule:

Thursday 6:15 PM (can't make it)

There's no midnight Thursday tournament.

Friday 10:15 AM $80 + $20

There's no noon Friday tourney.

Friday 6:15 PM $225

So it'll be $100....ouch.

They sya that there are plenty of structured games like 2/4, etc. As well as no-limit with $1 and $2 blinds. Also, they have one-table "sit and go" tournaments where the players usually buy-in for $65 dollars, and the winnner takes all ($500).

Thursday
